We collect information from you when you place an order.
When ordering, submitting a contact request or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To process transactions:
- Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
- To send periodic emails:
- The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
- To respond to contact requests submitted through forms:
- The email address you provide for a contact request will only be used to contact you with information pertaining to your request.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database that can only be accessed by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and who are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Return & Refund Policy
As our products are perishable, all sales are final. Any perishable goods sold by Berkwood Farms, such as our pork products, cannot be returned and purchases will not be refunded.
In the unlikely event that any item(s) purchased from Berkwood Farms are damaged or spoiled during transit, Berkwood Farms may refund or replace that order. Any decision to do so is entirely within the discretion of Berkwood Farms on a case-by-case basis. Berkwood Farms is not legally bound to replace or refund an order in the event you are not satisfied. Any request for a refund must be made within 20 days of purchase.
To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives. Berkwood Farms is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us, or for inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day you specify that it should be delivered.
Shipping/handling charges are not refundable. Refunds can only be credited to the originating credit card.
All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days from the date of payment, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
