Ruppert Family

Owners: Brad, Brian, Eugene, Larry, Matt

Years ago, the Ruppert’s had separate farms. However, in the late 1800’s all of the Ruppert families decided to migrate their farms together. In 1980, Ruppert brothers Brad, Brain, Eugene, Larry, and Matt were officially farming together. Today, their family farm consists of a total of 3,000 acres. Among these many acres of land includes fields of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and rye, along with pasture for cattle. The Ruppert’s also raise hogs on their farm as well.

The Ruppert farm is a true family farm including not only brothers, but nephews and cousins as well. When asked what their favorite Berkwood product was, the decision was unanimous with it being the Berkwood smoked ham. When the Ruppert’s find time for other activities outside of farming they love to spend it golfing with family and friends or going for rides on their motorcycles. It is easy to see that the Ruppert’s live a pretty exciting life.
