Owners: Scott and Becky Kirby
What year did you start farming?
We started farming in 2011 and we are the 3rd generation to farm this family farm.
How big is your farm?
What does your farm consist of?
200 acres row crop/hay ground, 40 angus stock cows, and 30 Berk sows farrow to finish
What is something notable about your farm?
This farm is located along the Maquoketa River with an abundance of wild life. The farm has been farmed only by family. The 2 building sites both have a house with the big old wood bars that have been gradually disappearing from Iowa’s landscape.
What is your favorite activity besides farming?
When time allows, we pack up the camper and take our 4 kids out for the weekend.
